If You were CEO for 1day, what would you do?

As young managers, I and my peers were swift to criticise those in the CEO roles. We had all the ideas, energy, passion and few of the real responsibilities. “Why dont they do this or that?” we would question amongst ourselves.  We are “too soon old and too late smart” as the New York saying goes. Where does a CEO find their wise mentor or trusted leadership advisor?  Do they have to learn on the job through blunders and mass collateral damage?

No!

It is so easy to criticise, but how awware are you of the politics, the paradoxes and the pitfalls? If you were CEO for 1 day, what would you do?  Where would you add the most value, what would be the 3 things you would do that day which would make the greatest positive difference?
