Experience

A Speaker Who Leads by Example:

Jonathan’s life purpose is to be an authentic leader who supports, challenges and inspires other leaders to make a positive impact in the world.  Jonathan’s executive clients at HSBC and Barclays describe him as one of the top board-level coaches and he is also known as “the CEO’s Coach”.

He is a popular international speaker and writer, based on 28 years raw leadership experience in the British Army, PwC, IBM and now as Penna’s MD of Board and Executive Coaching. He sees his coaching work as a calling and founded, built up and leads Penna’s international coaching team of 72 executive coaches with inspiration, passion and zest. HM the Queen awarded him the MBE for his services to live leadership in addition to his MA and MBA.

Jonathan focuses on high performance leaders and teams in the corporate, public and consulting sectors; bringing commercial acumen and leadership tips from his time in PwC Consulting, IBM and as an Army Officer.  Jonathan was Assistant to the Head of the British Army, Chief of Staff of the Army’s largest Brigade and Commanded his Company on 3 operational tours.

He encourages the clients that he coaches to also lead by example, have courageous conversations and give inspirational feedback.  What is so rare with such a leadership pedigree is that Jonathan also demonstrates deep listening, intuition, sensitivity and loving leadership.
